Nanny Aupair is a digital platform designed for families in the Netherlands to easily find reliable nannies. The solution includes a website, web application, and mobile responsive interface, allowing parents especially working couples to connect with trusted caregivers for their children and also allows to easily find jobs.

Problem

Working parents in the Netherlands faced difficulties finding trustworthy nannies due to the lack of a centralized and verified platform. This made the search process slow, unreliable, and stressful. At the same time, nannies struggled to find legitimate job opportunities. A unified platform was needed to make the process easier for both families and caregivers.

Solution

We developed Nanny Aupair, a seamless digital platform that connects parents with verified nannies. The solution includes a website, web app, and mobile - responsive interface, allowing users to browse profiles, communicate securely, and manage bookings effortlessly - all in one place, making childcare simpler and more reliable for both families and Job seekers.

User

Research

The research examined key platform journeys such as browsing nanny profiles, discovering job opportunities, understanding availability, and initiating connections through the website and responsive web application. Insights revealed the need for a clear platform structure, simple navigation, and consistent interactions across devices to support both parents and caregivers.

These findings guided design decisions around information hierarchy, search and discovery flows, and responsive behavior, ensuring the platform delivers a smooth, trustworthy, and accessible experience across web and mobile environments.

User Interface

Architecture

The web UI of Nanny Aupair was designed to provide a clean, intuitive, and responsive experience for both parents and caregivers. The interface focuses on simplicity and ease of navigation, ensuring users can quickly find and connect with the right nanny.

Parents can explore verified nanny and au pair profiles, apply smart filters to refine their search by experience, skills, location, or availability, and connect instantly through the platform’s secure messaging system. They can also review applications, manage booking requests, and track all interactions from a simple, organized dashboard. For nannies, the platform offers an easy way to create detailed profiles, search for suitable job openings, and apply directly to families with just a few clicks.
